Total Management

Joseph Campbell Foundation

Joseph Campbell Foundation [site]

I began working on this project in 2002 as a forum moderator. In early 2007, I became the project lead for a new version of the site. Since the original site was custom-coded in PHP, we decided to move to an open source content management system. The eight person team I lead was international (from California, Germany, New York, Holland, and Australia).

The JCF is a small but active not-for-profit whose site continues to grow. I am now the full-time web developer for the foundation. The site contains hundreds of pages, several custom database solutions, a sophisticated permissions system, a large discussion forum, a Google Maps mash-up, and many other unique features.

Having completed the launch of the new Audio Landing pages, we are now planning for the release of the next generation JCF web site (affectionately called JCF 3.0).
